Just wanted to share with you folks my really good news
Yesterday I was offered and accepted a position working with kids who have developmental delays. The age group is 0-3 years old. The place I'll be working at is more like a huge extended family rather than an office setting. Everybody gets along well and is committed to helping these kids and their families.
I finally feel like I'm coming home to my life purpose--- everything is in sync
I don't think I would have made it through the last many months without this board and my exploring the spiritual side of things. I'm putting out a huge thank you to everybody here...
I'll continue to explore and learn and grow and post here with you, my friends.
I'm very excited about all the possibilites with this new job and all the lives I'll be able to touch and hopefully help.

Thanks Star. I am tickled pink at everything that is opening up for me right now.
I'll be taking a class in IET next week.... am looking at the big picture at going back to school in CT at the Institute of Healing Arts and Sciences where what they teach I feel will be used in the future within the school systems... as my mom used to say "the world is my osyter and all is a pearl" or something like that meaning that the possibilities are endless....
We are all so blessed.

Congratulations Mary well done...
Just had a thought!! Do you have reiki? If not, This healing touch is a wonderful gift to use for every thing. You do not need to go through every level just reiki 1, once you have been attuned you can never lose it and everyone and everything you touch will be receiving healing on a physical emaotional mental and spiritual level. It was also shown to me that this would be a wonderful healing tool for yourself. I know that you will love your work but at the same time there will be challenges for you to over come with some of these children. Reiki is gentle and can be used on every one from new borns to the elderly, people on medication etc. It is very soothing and relaxing. Not only for your self and the chilren but the parents or carers of these children who at times must be in need of some nurturing too. It is a wonderful thing to help someone and it is as simple as a hand on a shoulder.
Just a thought that popped in when I read your wonderful news.

Hi Coralbea-
Thanks-- Reiki is next on my list, first the IET which is on a higher vibration than Reiki as I've been told by a good friend/mentor of mine. I have just felt really drawn to IET from the first time I read anything about it.

I have an 8 year old who has been Developmentally Delayed all his life, It takes a very special person to work with these kids. Congrats on the new job and many blessings to you as you take on your new adventure with these little ones.
