Let's have some fun here as we approach a full moon on Monday April 2nd...please respond to the poll, if the moon moves you to do so.
An interesting lunar fact...the moon has an enormous impact on the earth, especially her tides. Earth, just as our bodies are, is made up of 73ish percent water. Understanding this moon energy...it must be true that we all have some type of special pull / connection / experience with the moon...what is yours?

Well I love to meditate in the full moon and I find myself going very deep and energising from the energy of the moon. Because I am vibrational therapist I work with energy from the universe but sometimes have to use my own so I find that the full moon restores that for me. The Moon used to affect my moods until I became aware of this and then stopped fighting it I no longer have any problems or if I do I ask myself what is wrong and then deal with it.
Not sure about my psychic abilities they seem to come and go so much that I just accept and give gratitude.
I don't practice lunar celebrations but I do put all my crystals and oils out the three days of the and around the full moon. This energises and cleanses them and boy can you feel the energy off them :)
Is there a connection to lunar = lunacy? well I have done a little research and have found that our bodies ( as much as we don't want to think about this ) are full of parasites both internal and external. I am not sure how or why as I didn't go into it but the moon, just as it affects the tides and water etc also has an affect on these parasite. Do more research your selves if you care to. me i would rather not know more :) This could also be the moon struck thing.
A blue moon I think is when you have 2 full moons in the one month which does not happen very often. We had one last year some time.
Well the darkside of the moon is probably just the same as the other side of the moon except it is dark because it has no light and :)

7. Is there a connection to lunar = lunacy? Not Lunacy, Lunatic and that be me.
8. What does the term "moon struck" mean? A Moon beam went off In your head, a light cut on :~)
9. What do you think is on the dark side of the moon? Well now Pink Floyd used this term in their song back in the 70's and for the life of me I can't remember the whole song but there was a meaning behind It. Maybe Isolation, alone?
10. Share your lunar facts here. I don't know much about Astrology but I do believe the Moon affects our daily lives, It's there for a reason, that's where the MAN IN THE MOON lives.

1. What was the phase of the moon on the day you were born? I am not sure about that I never asked my mother and to tell you the truth lol I dont think she remembers lol.
2. Does the phases of the moon affect your mood? Yea it does I am more happy when there is a full moon and when there is a cresent I feel more calm and tranquil. When there is a half and a quater moon I feel like I am less calm I am too tired and moody :) lol.
3. At what phase are your psychic abilities most influenced? I really dont have psychic abilities but I do tend to see aura's and see angels though.
4. Do you practice any lunar celebrations? No but I do get excited though lol I really dont do lunar celebrations I wonder is that in the bible? Can a christian practice lunar cylces?
5. Do you know how many days are in a lunar cycle? I dont know ummm 9? :P
6. What does the phrase, "once in a blue moon" mean to you? Once in a blue moon means once in a while too me.
7. Is there a connection to lunar = lunacy? yes on the harvest moon lol.
8. What does the term "moon struck" mean? That means umm lets see that means I was struck by your appearence.
9. What do you think is on the dark side of the moon? The same as the light side of it its only in a shadow. In the olden days people thought the moon was cheese lol ROFL I am like there in luneville lol.

Well, I do believe that the person moves with in the movement of the lunars path in space, I believe that we are physically in tuned with it becaust like you said we are made up of water and dust! It is recorded in the bible. It is amazing dont you think? I am very fond of the light and how the sun projects its sunlight to the moon. Fascinating. I am a science geek lol. I am a believer in God I am a believer in creation and that God created the earth in 7 days its possible and those evolutionist are way out of there leauge lol. Great lunar survey, Starseed!
1. I didn't know what phase of the moon I was born so I went net surfing .... from what I gathered it was in between the last quarter of the moon and before the new moon (2 days after and 5 days before the new)**** can y'all tell I'm a Virgo, here???lol
2. Since today is the full moon I can tell you that I am in a GREAT mood today and was as well, yesterday. Never really tried to correlate moods/phases before--- will have to keep track.
3. psychic abilities--- tend to dream more near/at full moon with vivid recall... pretty much go with the flow most of the time.
4. lunar celebrations-- nope, not at this time.
5. days in a lunar cycle? 28ish?
6. blue moon meaning-- to me, means it happens rarely
7. lunar and lunacy LOL--- used to teach/work in a hospital DEFINATELY!!! kids would be OFF the wall, or patients would be coming in in droves for "wierd" stuff. It never failed-- someone would check the calendar and it would always be a FULL moon-- double whammies on days we expected a blizzard lol
8. moon struck? when somethings hits you between the eyes or in the heart and you are knocked off your feet--- there is an instant recognition/connection with some inner truth or with someone--- has happened to me several times in the past
9. dark side of the moon--- when light and love are not illuminating your soul and you have self-doubts-- to me it's like the "dark night of the soul"... the up side of this is that eventually (and hopefully sooner than later) the moon will face the full face of the sun and be lit up once again :))
10. lunar facts: I looked up blue moon: it said that a blue moon happens when there is a second full moon in one month, which happens about every 2 1/2 years. The next one to occur will be this year in the months of May, June, or July depending upon the time zone you live in....oops, there goes the teacher/virgo again!
Interesting thought occurred to me right now, since the moon affects the pull of Earth's tides and we are made up of mostly water, it makes definite sense that the moon has an effectual "pull" on us too... as far as the parasites go, Coralbea, EEEWWWWWHH!! lol

HEHEHE Mary thought you would all appreciate the parasite thing. From one Virgo to another you know I am right!! tonight is the full moon here where I live so I know that I will be awake most of the night, but instead of fighting it like I used to I put it to good use and absorb the enrgy. I write my best meditations on the full moon and I think that sometimes it is really not me. I read over them or use them in Meditation group and astound myself with what is on the paper. So I feel that the Goddess energy is strong within on the Full moon.
Most females have their cycle of 28 days which is the same of the moon. so if you are angry or upset or just feeling like yuk take notice of your cycle and the moon phase at the time and use that info to work on what is happening withing your body. As you said Mary we are mostly made up of water and a lot of us tend to retain fluid as certain times :)
It is all really fascinating

Your welcome, starseed. I thought that was fun, anyways how was your easter? I have a bunny rabbit and she is sooooooooooo cute lol I tried to take her out but she had crap stuck to her butt lol ewwwwwww it smelled I was like Gizma you need a bath lol. she is all stinky. I love nature and animals even children I wonder what my aura color could be. I am a sweet kind christian woman and I care about life and the environment. I am very spiritual and funny at times I am happy optimistic. Joyfull and free-spirit I even am mellow and I love to be tranquil and at peace See I wonder what my aura is lol. I am not into extreme stuff but calming and I like nature walks too :)

Yes.

4. Do you practice any lunar celebrations? Yes. I am comfortable singing to the moon and enveloping myself in its warmth. There are some Celtic, American Indian songs to the moon. I feel loved when singing them and joined when just standing looking at the moon. Crystals cleaned and it is all different depending on the cycle,

6. What does the phrase, "once in a blue moon" mean to you? That was the name of the factory next door to insulwool factoiry my DAD worked in when he was alive.

7. Is there a connection to lunar = lunacy? There is documentation that there is an increase in violent activites when there is a full moon. Even thepolice take note of the full moon as they say, it is going to be a bad night out on the streets tonight.
8. What does the term "moon struck" mean? Moon madness. In the old days you were moonstruck if you were out in the night during the full moon and came back mad from the things you had seen in the moon lit night.

10. Share your lunar facts here. It is documented that there was a hollow sound when the american ship landed on the moon. It is actually a satelite. Hollow. It resonaed with a bell tone when they landed.
