Does anyone see any type of transparent looking outlines around pictures or other objects. Sometimes I see a transparent color, clear, maybe greyish but I think mostly clear around things. I don't see them all the time but sometimes. If I look at an object and look away I can actually see the object in transparent form on the wall. I don't really see detail just outline, now is this normal eye sight?

Reply: Hi Kelly
You could be seeing one of two things...
Simply, you are beginning to see auras, which usually show up as light shadows at first, and then as you develop your ability, you begin to see the colors, or energy frequency they emit. Colors have to do with the length of frequency band they give off...like a rainbow. If this is the case...enjoy your new gift, as the 3rd eye is beginning to open for you.
Or- optical science tells us that...
When you look at an object that emits light for a period of time, like the television or a white wall that is refecting light, and then look away...what you are seeing in an the imprint that is left behind...this is called an after image. It has to do with your retina being desensitized by the light, and then when looking away you see an outline of what you were just looking at. It takes a while for your eyes to re-adjust to the new imput of light. The image usually dissappears after about 30 seconds or so. My Kindergarteners are studying the human body right now...and visual eye tricks...ie optical illusions.
Either way...have fun!
As Above
