Subject: What have I learned today

Message: Today I learned that I can not make everyone happy, no matter how hard I try. My teenage daughter has the split personality of Dr Heckle and My Hyde and you never know who will walk through the door, you don't know whether to smile or run. My husband, wonderful man that he is can make coffee better than I can, make a sandwich better than I can. My first born child has chosen a partner that is doing strange things to his head so much so that I dare not even look at her for fear of giving her "evils" A fact I find a great challenge as I don't know what an "evil" is LOL.
And my 7 year all of a sudden does not like his favourite meal anymore, which is a great shame because that is all he would eat now I have to go through the pile of Childrens cook books to find out what he would like to eat now!!!
I have learned that I make myself miserable trying to make everyone else happy. I have learned today that I am not responsible for any one elses happiness but my own. If they do not care enough about them selves to find contentment for them selves I can not do it for them.
You know what ?? I feel so much better for learning that lesson.
Love and LIght Helen

Reply: What a great subject...as everyone has something new to learn each and every day, and that is a part of why we are all here. To experience, to learn, and to grow in order to find our way back to the divine. Yes, our teachers can, and do, come in many different forms...from a friend, an experience you have, or even a small child. Our guides and angles give us little nudges to help move us in the right direction.
I, too, have had LOTS of little life lessons...some very humbling and others that have helped me to grow spiritually. Most recently, I have learned that nature is VERY grounding for me. It helps me to stay in the here and now so that I don't get too spacey or fragmented. I have also learned to stay out of my head too much and go with my heart...as I find that my head interferes too much with spirit.
On a much lighter note...I learned to keep spare keys handy, that I can burn anything while I am cooking, and yes, I am the only one who can make myself happy, as my happiness comes from within.

Right on sister! I think were all still learning. The more I learn, the more I realize how much more there really is to learn. I guess we never stop.
Anyway...I have missed you girl (and Helen too). Glad all is well in your world....sending good vibes your way!

Hello Starseed,
Couldn't agree with you more on the learning factor. I was out of town for a bit, my oldest son had his first child which made me a NANA and I had to go and see the baby before he got grown :~)

Reply: Hello lovely angels Have missed chatting to you both too.
I have learned that what you truly want, the universe provides. AS in the bible "Ask and you shall receive". So be careful what you ask for and make sure it is really what you want!!
About 12 months ago I put it out to the angels that I wanted to really get stuck into my healing work once I finished my study, but needed to have the clients to do that I asked to have at least 3 clients a day every week. I also have not advertised it has all bee by word of mouth but 2 days ago I put out some brochures. Love my angels I have been flat out with 2 to 3 clients every day since Mid January for various therapies. I am so very happy about this as I am finally helping people realise their true worth and helping to open them to spirituallity.
Well I hope you all have a brilliant day I have 2 clients today and I must be off :)
Much love and Light
Helen x

Reply: That is great news Helen- Many congrats...it sounds as if you are truely following your bliss. I read somewhere once: "Find a job you love and you'll never work a day in you life." Thought it sounds as if you may want to put in a request to your angels now for a summer holiday.
Kelly- I think your a bit of a ways away...about 16-18 hour drive...I'm just East of Spokane, Wa.

Reply: Yep, you are a bit away from me, was hoping you were a little closer. Hope you are not to cold where you are. Getting a job you love sounds so wonderful. I have not figured out what the heck I like to do as for out there in the working world. Just finished up my degree in Health Care Management, now all I have to find a job which is not going very good here.
