Message: Has anyone ever been taken on an animal totem journey? I recently had a wolf jump up on my bed as I was waking up one morning. I thought that it was my dog. I almost told my dog, Nya, to get down when I realized that my dog wasn't even in the room and the door was closed. The wolf then circled me and then began to bite my hands as if to say come with me...we have important work to do together. I went and the next thing I knew I was visiting a place where a woman noticed me and said, "What are you doing here? You're not supposed to be here." The wolf stood on my left the entire time and even growled a bit. It was very serious and I knew not to pet it. When I looked down at it I noticed that it's fur was mixed with a gray and black color. The wolf tried to take me on another journey the next morning, but it was interupted. It hasn't happened again since. My other animal totems are a horse, a scarab beetle, and a hawk or falcon.

Reply: Animal Totems all have themes. messages, even if you do not have the dream again, you can look it up in a few search engines and itwill tell you different stories about the significance of the actual animal, rather than the dream itself.
If you look at the animal, and the message it brings, then connect it with the storie they showed you, you can usually figure it out.
i have had dreams of Lawmen and their 'helpers' here and then I fiigured out stuff that I as a woman let alone a white person am not ever meant to know. I have to keep it to myself.
But this much I can say.
I found out my totem acording to the Aboriginals here.
The Emu. which is to do with Law and also it conects up with being a Libra sign.
Balance etc.
I am not saing that I had the dreams because of the Emu totem.
these dreams come to me whether I am awake or asleep.
here I am comfortable with saying what I feel.
they were visions.
The wolf is in Russian folk lore as well as Indian etc.
I look at all of them.
they are all connected.

Reply: This may be mixed up as my last post hasnt appeared yet sorry
Starseed, you may have found it already but here is a site that may help start the searh.
http://www.legendsofamerica.com/NA-Totems.html
After reading it Dog is mine, I have a thing with black and white dogs. I have only had 5 but they have been friends right from the start.
I have the Syberian Husky Black and White with blue eyes and on her left eye is a little brown red mark on the colour.
A blue heeler x rhodesian Ridge back x Stafordshire bull terrier. Black and white with gold eyes.
But also recently Crows. a lot or a few.
One in Aboriginal Law is change.
a lot and I mean a lot means death.
But in the American Indian totems it means different and seems to fit in more with what has been happening.
Ihavent found one to do with birthdays yet.
I am going back on the site now to have a read.

Reply: I met my Animal Guide in a meditation a few years ago, he is an amazingly magnificent red Stag. Very graceful yet strong and protective too.
He is beautiful and I have yet to find a picture of a stag that would do him justice. I always feel safe when I call on Him. I asked him once was he known by a name and I got the name Maximillian, when I looked it up in a name book it means " Greatest in Excellence."
Elizabeth I looked at the site you suggested and came across this for stag " Lord of the forest, masculine power of regeneration, signs." and this for deer " Compassion, peace, intellectual, gentle, caring, kind, subtlety, gracefulness, femininity, gentleness, innocence, and seller of adventure"
I also read some where that deer is shown for hidden clairvoyance.:)
I just know that when I call Max he comes with a strength of love that I can physically feel and it feels wonderful.

Reply: Coralbea,
do you meet your animal guide by seeing special people, or do you do a form of meditaion like the crystal links was saying for meeting the male half of me sort of.
Do you goto the garden and call him/her, your animal guide, or is there another way.
I felt that Storm and Kwan were my guides in a way. They chose me. They were not treated right from where they came from.
You stag sounds like the 1900's prints I have. It was the only thing I have with me that my parents said Ihave carried aroundsince I was 7 yrs old.
Nobody is allowed to touch it. they can look but they must not touch.
It is a print by the painter Jacques, dates 1900.
It is a set of two prints. There is the stag standing at alert whilst the others are drinking and there are other ani,als as well. There is a massive mountain range in the background and a mist of fog intertwined everywhere.
this one is called "On the Alert".
then there is another side of the mountain ans the picture is similar but he is having a drink this time and alert but restful still. Proud, magnificent. this print is called "the Guardian".
I can try and scan it for you if you like. It would have to be in parts though. It is very old and it was originally in seperate frames but the wooden nails holding it together were rotting and before the borers in the frame got to the painting I had it restored as much as possible and put in a framme i picked to crown it. A gold the leaf gold stuff frame. the pictures are not worth anything except the love and passion that comes from not owning it, but actually being a part of it.
Mum said that I used to sit for hours just staring at it.It was the only time that I was calm as a child.
He is magnificent.
It is not one of those vivid coloured prints like you see today. It has a autumn sort of colour to it with a lot of blueish sort of background.
the clouds even look wonderful.
I even had that special glass put in the front so that the sun doesnt deteriate it at all.
I had to protect it.
It is my sanity.
And for Starseed i have been thinking of the chap you havent seen for 1,000 years. I think I can hear the sort of voice you are talking about.
It is not music but it is. I am not saying I hear his voice. I just hear sort of what you are talking about and it is like the vibrations you get off people, body language, but theirs is mute, you cant hear it but you can feel it.
And I forgot that Storm isnt just a dog. Syberian Huskies are originally wolves arent they, but domesticated now sort of.
And the cat we have is a bengal. She has lots of attitude.
If you want I will pull the picture frame apart and scan it. it is a joke around here that I will scan anything after I tried to fit a massive 3D woodburning piece into the scanner.
It worked with the clap sticks and possum ball.
It has a lid. Just leave the lid up. It will fit.

Reply: Another great resource for animal totems is "Animal Speak" I dont know who it is by. Also another book and he also has a website is Steven Farmer's "Power Animals" -- I believe he is Doreen Virtue's husband.
I was told many years ago, that my totem animals were Bear (most strongly-- defender of the underdog, speaker of truth) and Raccoon, by an Abenaki woman who read my palm.
Recently, on a guided meditation, I encountered Bear. I feel that he is always nearby, ready to help.
good luck
Blessings

Reply: Hello Everyone- All I seem to be doing is posting today...hope you don't mind my 1/2 cent everywhere.
Thank you for the web site Elizabeth, I will check it out today. I am glad that you found the bit on Crystalinks about the meditation for meeting your male half...as it is our goal to merge with our other half and become androgenous beings...yes, like the angels whom are really neither male or famale...we have just labeled them into these two categories because this is how we live on earth. Also, I just found out yesterday that Papa is indeed older than the earth itself.
Mary-I think Ted Andrews is the author of Animal Speak. I have his book about singing crystal bowls and crystal bowls (scrying).

Reply: The meditation I did at the time was a cd by John Edward for meeting your spirit guide. You can do a meditation your self by taking yourself to your safe place ( you will know where that is) and call in all that you need to meet. Do not try to force anything do not try to anylise anything just accept what is brought to you experience it and after you finish the med then you can bring in ther logics if you must. Elizabeth. i would be most honoured if you scanned your Stag. He sounds gloreous just like Max. However I would like you to ask your guides if this is the right think to do I would not like to jepordise such a beautiful thing.
If your guidance tells you no then so be it I will in no way be offended. I thank you with all my love :)
Love light and laughter

Reply: Coralbea,
I believe that as I saw your posting and then the image of the picture I have came to mind, that was the angels way of saing look, here is a possibility. And if it brings a warm glow over you then how can it be wrong.
It will take me a little while but I will do it.
Something 2 foot by 2 foot fitted into a Lexmark scanner then photo edit it so it is all together properly before sending. It can be done.
As long as you and your Stag do not mind. It will not be as glorious as the original but it is a beutiful picture.
I am gready sorry or i would give it to you.
I would feel as though a part of me had been cut away. My heart.
But I can share it.
I just have this protection thing.

Reply: Never think you are greedy Elizabeth As I said if your guidance tells you yes then I will accept it gratefully. However if you try to scan and it does not work the first time I would then consider it a NO from your guides. and leave it at that. I do know that you would like to share it with me and again I appreciate your tremendous heart.
Maximillian and I thank you :)

Reply: Coralbea and Maximillian,
I forgot and then remembered, tried to see if it will work and scan.
I lookedat the frame etc, size and thought no I cant....
But then reaing your posting again, i have decided to still try.
I will have to try and work out how to get the cover off the scanner.
Should be ok as it is plastic.
i will have to do the picture in four or six sections.
I will not give up. I jsut need more time sorry.
