Yes I would agree with you. I have never seen an angel however, I have had some things happen in the past that I am not sure how to fully explain. I'm a Kelly as well :~)

You are so right Kelly, and hello KB.I have been blessed with seeing angels. When I first started down my spiritual path 4 years ago I called upon the angel Hamied one night after reading an article about summoning angels. Then I saw them Two of the most beautiful glowing orbs, Unfortunately I frightened myself, I didn't think I could do that and didn't understand much at the time so I said I was sorry to them that I should not have called them and squeezed my eyes shut. I have not seen them physically again although now I wish I could. I now know that the other one was my guardian angel. I now feel them around me when I call and I know that all I need to do is ask and they will be there to help, love, guide and advise me.

I love your story, you are very blessed to have seen your angels. I think mine know I am not ready to handle it just yet due to me being frightened in the past on seeing and hearing another spirit/spirits howevever, I am warming up to it and I am reading the Doreen Virtue books you suggested. I read the Angels and messages because that came first and now I am on Healing with the angels and they are very good books.

just go with what you feel is right for you I will give the the great advice that was given to me by a very wise friend who is also a brilliant clairvoyant. Do not take every word you read as gospel. this has worked very well for me and I don't believe that what is right for one is also right for another. We tend to put a lot of pressure on ourselves to do what others tell us. What I found with all I have read and learned is the books are a great starting point to lead you in the right direction and to give you some basic information, to be informed is very liberating, then you explore your own truths and learn to trust your own intuition, angels and guides. I do not need to become a vegan to hear or see my beautiful angels and guides, in fact I was a smoker at the time I saw my angels. I have since given that habit away almost 3 years ago. Go with what you feel is right, for you however a good diet and good living habits and loving thoughts do raise your vibrations, which then helps you to avoid the lower energies like ego, diseases and illnesses, which start with negative energy anyway. raising your vibrations bring you closer to the vibrations of the angels and spiritworld so they don't have to work as hard to be heard or seen. Living with the knowledge that your angels and spirit guides are always around just for you is a beautifull and gentle way to live, and we can all pray that one by one the people in the world will discover that living a personal spiritual life is the best high and the most powerful way to live may be then the world will be the heaven on earth for us all that God intended.

Hi Helen,
I am almost finished with the book Healing with the Angels and it is good however, I loved Angel Messages. After reading these books I've come to realize how screwed up religion can get and how we all interpret a script from the Bible 20 different ways. If Doreen is actually 100 percent true in what she says then all I can say is WOW! half of us have missed the boat, and hopefully I can catch the next ride. There are many things I fear and I need to work through and one is being in the dark. I hate darkness, I sleep with the light on however, I am reading that this interferes with the angels communicating with you while you sleep because you need to go into a deep sleep. I sleep with one eye opened LOL.

Every time you get scared of the dark ask your angels to take away the fear and they will you will be able to feel it leave you as if it was physically being pulled from you. Ask them to show you why you are so afraid of the dark and then release that fear to them and before you know it Bam there goes another ego based obstacle that has been keeping you from the love of hearing seeing and feeling your Divine guidance.
I smoked cigarettes for about 20 years and tried to quit so many times over the years but was very unsuccessful. I was given a very spiritual present for my 40th birthday which opened the doors to angelic and spirit realms for me. I decided to give up smoking again and this time I asked my angels for help. I asked them to please take away all the cravings and to help keep me away from all my friends who smoked, so I could not "bum a fag" so to speak, for as long as it took me to get past the first hard stage. We were on holiday on the coast I bought my first angel book Healing with the Angels and had my last smoke while reading the first few pages LOL. Were away from home for a week and every time an urge for a smoke came I asked my angels to remove the feeling and FELT it go. We returned home and the smoking neighbour was on two weeks holidays and my 3 best smoking friends were working (unexpectedly) full time or off on an (unplanned) holiday. Never before had I had none of my smoking friends available to see but the angels had arranged for this to happen so I would not be tempted. That was 3 years ago on the 17th Jan and I have never wanted to smoke again. Smoking was a way for me ( ego) to hold myself back from my guides, angels and my true lifes purpose.

Every one has free will of course when but we are all human as well and we all have an ego whether you are a pauper or an archbishop.
Yes I Have always believed in God but when it comes to some religions I have always felt that it was a great way to control the masses. At the end of the day we are listening to a human interpreting what he or she feels and thinks. we can all read the same book and all have a different analysis of it so who is to say that the Original Books of the Bible have been interpreted exactly from language to language?? I know that certain words in english have no equivilant in other languages.
I am a spiritual person and not a religeous person and I think I am better for it and this is my belief, my free will

i totally believe my angel has a blue energy. i see blue flecks sometimes. i beleive it was him, thank God for him that hes stood by me, since the last three years.on a spiritual basis, organised religion was not for me ever since i was child. but respecting people that wish to follow these religions and beings like Jesus, any deity, god and goddess from all cultures was a good way for me without being religious at all.

Absolutely agree Loz. Religion has its place and purpose but to get to know the ascended masters Goddesses and other Deities personally is the best experience of all. Religions make you feel that these spiritual beings are out of reach of us mere mortals. We are made to feel that only certain people are special enough to contact the Divine beings personally. Well I know differently from personal contact We are all equal in Gods eyes only humans place importance on social standing. None of my children are baptised due to the conditions that were placed on having this Holy ritual performed by the churches, so I never went through with it as I felt I was being blackmailed.
Not having them baptised concerned me and so one day when I was talking to my angels I asked God if I could speak directly to Him. The answer that came back was Of course my child I am always hear to listen. I asked him if it mattered that my 3 children were not baptised in the church and his answer to me was "All are my children and it matters not if you are baptised I will always welcome my children with love. (or words to that effect) I thanked him and asked if I could talk to him again and he said this. That Like any Loving Father He loves when his children call home for he loves to hear from us. however we usually wait till we are in dire straights when we do and often miss his loving presense and answers, That is why he sends us angels so we can hear Him through the angels. Our Father would like us to take the time to just talk to him and have a chat about how the day went what you are going to have for dinner etc. He just wants us to be happy.
I still have trouble releasing that feeling of not being worthy of talking directly to God because of my Churches teaching from Child hood. But I am getting better at calling home to talk to Father.

Do you know what my son and I did for Christmas? It was only him and I here because the hubby is deployed. We baked JESUS a birthday cake, sang him happy birthday then ate the cake LOL.

What a wonderful thing to do I am sure Jesus thought so too. I have always felt that the true meaning of christmas has been lost in the commercial hustle and bustle of the silly season. Congratulations to you and your precious son for being so spiritual.

I mentioned to my son of doing it and when we were in the grocery store he reminded me we had to get stuff to bake a cake for Jesus's birthday so, we chose a RED VELVET cake how appropriate huh? and I let him write on it Happy Birthday Jesus. After singing happy birthday I cut it and told JESUS to please have a piece, maybe he tried it :~)
Couldn't agree with you more on how commericalized Christmas is, I hate to see it referred to as X-Mas don't you?

Again Doreen Virtue ( I do not get commission for selling her products lol) has a chakra clearing cd. It is the one I started with and is really great. It is a guided meditation that wil only take about 20 minutes. There is one in the morning and one for evening. I recommend this CD it really does help you clear your chakras. I know that all these things cost money and if you are stretched financially it can be very hard to afford these things, so do what I do and ask your angels to find you the item at the lowest cost possible ( my angels know how stinghy I can be lol) They will get you the stuff in ways you never thought possible, believe me my angels are the best bargain hunters. I requested and recieved an information pack from Doreen Virtue AI course which consisted of 2 Archangel oracle cards and the little book to tell you the meanings with them.
I wanted a deck of Archangel oracle cards one time and reminded Bea and Coral ( my angels) how cheap I am. LOL I am sure they roll their eyes and say WE KNOW THE LOWEST PRICE WE CAN FIND"
Anyway I then left it to my girls to find them for me. I was in the middle of a Diploma of Metaphysics and stayed one night with a lady I became friendly with at the course. This visit was totally not planned by me I was meant to stay with another friend But Rosie said she would love to catch up so I changed one nights accommodation. She brought out her various oracle cards and we did a reading for each other it was really fun. I mentioned that I would like a deck of the Archangel cards of which she had a set, and had asked my angels to find them. She said she could GIVE me a set as a really good friend of hers had something to do with organising Doreen Virtue Tours and was always giving Rosie spare cards of different decks. She said that she would probably be able to get together the whole deck I just wouldn't have the book. I said that I already had a book. Thank you angels. My beautiful angels had found me the cards for Free. Can't get much cheaper than that HEH?
These little miracles happen all the time when your connect to you angels. Ask and you shall receive.

I love to hear stories of how angels or guides have "gifted" things to people. Someone should write a book on this.
I also have some of Doreen Virtue's angle cards. I LOVE and use them every day, as well as, Sonia Choquette's Ask Your Guides Cards. I originally got the decks to help connect with the angles and my guides. Now, I use them to start each day.

How is this one then.
I went to a friends place and she brought out DV's Angel Guidance Oracle Board. We played with it for a while then I had to leave. I asked my angels if I was supposed to have a board to find me one as cheaply as possible ( more eye rolling I am sure) as the board in the shops in over $30.00
About 2 weeks later I went to the news agents and picked up the Insight Mag that comes out monthly. I didn't see anything on the front cover that interested me enough to buy it so I left. Well for the next week I had the hugest urge to go buy the magazine. I put it off as I didn't want to. I went to do the groceries and leaving the supermarket walked past the newsagent again and this time bought the mag. Got home threw it on the table and unpacked the food. Made a cuppa and sat down to flick through the pages. There was a flyer advertising a book club and the introductory offer was any 4 items for $5.00 each. Guess what was on the inside page of the flyer????? Doreen Virtue Angel Guidance Oracle Board for $5.00

Interesting article however, 20 years Is not a very long time to come up with some of these conclusions. I think each one of us experience visions, hearing, and knowing all differently so, for this research to say this is how it is well, I have to disagree. Angels do intervene when they need to, they have been seen all over the world by many people so I have to disgree when this article says they can not be seen. Still, a very interesting article and thanks for sharing It.

Yes, I did visit the suggested site. This research foundation seems to be dedicated to bringing science and spirituality together. I read the article and then looked all over the site. This gave me a better understanding for what they are teaching. So...you may want to search further as well to see if this site is really for YOU and fits into YOUR belief system.
I, too have been searching for more that 20 years...actually...since I was 8 and I am now 43. I have learned that every religion and culture has their own take on angels, life after death, etc. I decided that religion did not feed my soul and so I emptied that vessel long ago. That is when I became a seeker of spiritual truth.
If you are looking into a scientific explaination...I would suggest:
Dr. Raymond Moody or Elizabeth Kubler Ross. I had the opportunity to see Dr. Moody a few years ago. He discussed his research on near death experiences. He found a reoccuring theme of people's near death experiences...that they saw the devil and Jesus fighting over their soul. So, why do some people have terrifying experiences, and some have joyful ones? Well, Dr. Moody then began to look at all his data that he had collected over the years. Next, he looked at the geographic location of where his research had been conducted...down in the south...the big bible belt. Moody then understood that in order for these people to believe that they were truly dead, they must have their beliefs acted out in a way that they had been taught. So, maybe this site is more of a cultural belief system. As such, what one's belief system is...it becomes their reality. That is why monitoring your thoughts are soooo important.
However, science (3D reality) can't always be put into spiritual terms. And there are thousands of angel sites out there...keep searching to find one that speeks to YOUR truth.
As for me...I try to stay out of my head and go with my heart.

Hello Everyone,It is wonderful that this site exists.Thankyou!I am a Gran,and I have been studying metaphysics for many years and have lots of qualifications.BUT,nothing prepares us for the appearance and phenomena of Angel and Spirit visits!I have had many times,where I am woken at night,to find a spirit person standing next to my bed,and several times I have been handed bunches of flowers by these people,just country flowers,not bought ones.A few times I have seen Angels,and it is a life changing experience.Most of us come to the study of metaphysics because we are called to by events that have changed us,and we need answers.Very often we need to learn and unlearn a great deal very fast in order to find our answers.When I began doing a course about Angels,at first I thought that they were just thought forms,but I have had so many sightings and messages and synchronicities that I know that they are very very real and powerful.I love reading the stories that are on this site,and would like to add that the Angel Hamied,the angel of miracles,has been wonderful to me and my family.

Heather Hamied was THE first angel I ever saw with my physical eyes. What a beautiful powerful sight to behold, so bright and white. Yet in my ignorance, not believing I could actually call an angel then SEE it and lending into the fear factor, I shut my eyes, said sorry for calling him and said I didn't understand enough.That was almost 6 years ago and I am only just now starting to physically see the angels again. I then attended an Angel Miracles course and after being attuned to Michael,Raphael and Hamied physically feel them when they are around. I love my life so much more since I found my angels and started down my spiritual path. Oh by the way a little bit of personal trivia, My birthday is the 6th Sept which is international angels day, and the most popular song playing on the day of my birth in 1963 was sung by the band THE ANGELS :):) Think there could be a little connection there Lol!!
